- Full review of the existing outline bridge designs contained in the preliminary bridge options report including examination of alternate bridge construction options to those contained in the bridge options report;
- Procurement and supervision of ground investigation contracts;
- Procurement and supervision of topographical survey contracts;
- Procurement and supervision of all specialist sub-contractors;
- Acting as the Project Supervisor Design Process as required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006;
- Bridge design;
- Preparation of all contract documentation;
- Preparation of full tender analysis report and recommendation;
- Preparation of full final account reports for all construction and related contracts;
- Liaison and communication with the consultant for the main Flood Defence Project;
- Liaison and communication with interested parties and those parties impacted or potentially impacted by the project;
- And other duties considered appropriate to the brief.
