NUI Galway is seeking a reputable facilities management contractor with a proven
track record in directly delivering and managing technically demanding facilities
management services including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, building
services, cleaning, porterage, grounds maintenance (Hard and Soft), Handyman,
A/V Support, works projects and helpdesk services to the Human Biology, LCSI
and CTRF buildings in Galway, Ireland.
NUI Galway expects the FM contract to commence in October 2016 for a period
of 5 years with an option to extend the contract by 1+1 years. NUI Galway may
extend the scope of this contract to cover the FM service provisions, to selected
other locations.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: NUI Galway will undertake the required standstill period of at least 10 calender days at the point information on the publication of the contract award notice is communicated to unsuccessful tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Applicants have two working days from the publication of the contract award decision to request additional debriefing and that information has to be provided a minimum of three working days before the expiry of the standstill period. Such additional information should be required from the addressee in Section I.1. The purpose of the standstill period referred to above is to allow parties to apply to the Courts to set aside the award decision before the contract is entered into.
